The Normans united England with Normandy for some time but then Normandy and England were separated because of the civil war. The next 4 dynasties which ruled England were the Angevins, the Plantagenets, the Lancastrians and the Yorkists. During the reign of this dynasties Ireland and Wales were united with England. England became more stabile and powerful, though all the wars with the nobility and with the other countries like France. The Lancastrians and the Yorkists always fought with each other for the right to name a member of their dynasty as a successor of the English throne. The war between two dynasties ended with a marriage of two members of the dynasties. A new dynasty was founded, the Tudors. The five kings and queens who were the members of this dynasty are among the most well-known figures in Royal history. During the period of their reign, England developed into one of the leading European colonial powers. The last Queen who represented the Tudors was the Queen Elizabeth I. As she had no children her successor was the King James VI of Scotland (I of England). In 1603 he officially united England and Scotland and named himself as the King of Great Britain. For more than 100 years Great Britain was ruled by his descendants who all were members of the dynasty of Stuarts. During their reign Great Britain became for a short time a republic because of the war between the Crown and the Parliament. The King Charles I. was executed. Some years later the monarchy was restored. The death of the Queen Anne of Stuart led the drawing up of the Act of Settlement in 1701, which provided that only Protestants could hold the throne. This Act led to the beginning of the reign of a new dynasty: the Hanoverians. During the reign of the Hanoverians Great Britain became very powerful. British Empire covered the third of the globe. The constitutional monarchy was developed and there was the first Prime Minister. The last Queen of the House of Hanover the Queen Victoria married Prince Albert, the son of the Duke of Saxe-Coburg & Gotha so it was the beginning of the reign of the Saxe-Coburg-Gotha dynasty. The German-sounding title was replaced with the title of Windsor during the First World War. Great Britain is now ruled by the Queen Elizabeth II. Who is a member of the House of Windsor.

У тебя с артиклем непонятки какие-то. Гду нужно, у тебя его нет, зато где не нужно - полно. Перед народами я бы не ставила артикль, и перед королём тоже.
